Mystus Tengara Biography
Mystus tengara is a genus of small to medium-sized bagrid catfishes that occur in South and Southeast Asia.Mystus is poorly diagnosed. Macrones had previously been used by earlier authors, but this generic name was preoccupied in Coleoptera.Phylogenetic relationships within this genus are poorly understood, though it has been suggested that there are two major lineages.It was confirmed in 2005 that this genus is paraphyletic.
